QOTD: Religion and Intolerance

Religion has gotten a free ride in the marketplace of ideas for far too long. Religion is a hypothesis about the world: a theory of how the world works and how we should behave in it. So it’s reasonable to question it, to debate it, to point out when it doesn’t fit the evidence or doesn’t make sense. That’s not intolerance. And it’s not forcing ideas on anybody.
