Jesus and his posse went to Capernaum. When the sabbath came, he got right to work. It was Open Mike Sabbath at the synagogue so Jesus entered and taught stuff.
What Jesus taught wasn't important. What is important is that he was teaching with authority. You know, with a little backbone. Not at all like those pussy scribes. The people there were astounded at his teaching. They valued style over substance.
