Jesus spent forty days in the wilderness, where he was tested by Satan. Satan found that Jesus's blood pressure was a little high, but he was otherwise fit for the ministry. Satan didn't want Jesus to hang out with the wild beasts of the wilderness, but Jesus insisted on it. Satan wasn't happy about that, but at least he was able to convince Jesus to let angels wait on him.
